10 ways to invest in yourself

Investing in yourself is the best gift you can give to yourself. Here are 10 ways to invest in yourself.

1. Read books, educational podcasts and blogs. Reading expand your mind and have to power to bring you where you have never been, it can give you new dreams

2. Invest in your future. Take courses that speaks to you, go to seminars, workshops, start thinking thoroughly about your future the lifestyle you want. Pick a hobby you are passionate about that and master it.

3. Have many streams of income, with the forever changing economy, you cannot only rely o one source of income, you never know what will happen tomorrow. Having multiple source of income will help you sleep better at night.

4. Honor your intuition. Listen to your gut will allow you to make better decisions. Do you trust yourself enough to listen to your own advice as well?

5. Build your confidence. I have read somewhere that people who truly know their values have things to say and other will just listen. Be confident, you need to be confident to effectively express yourself.

7. Invest in a coach. It can be a mentor who guide you or simply someone who inspired you. Find a role model, it might not be the exact thing you want for your life but you might find certain traits in the journey of your chosen coach which is similar to yours. Looking up to someone can help you achieve more.

8. Invest in your health. You cannot be productive if you are not in good shape. Exercise, eat healthy meals, get moving every single day even just for 30 minute. Exercises also give you energy that boost your confidence.

9. Set goals. “If you don’t know where you want to be in the next 5 years maybe you are already there.” Know where you are going, have SMART goals. Specific, measurable, attainable realistic and within specific period of time.

10. Choose your circle wisely. The most important part of investing in yourself is choosing the people you allow around you wisely. The people around you either help you to the top or destroy you.Get rid of toxic relationships, know your true friends, spend your time in the right circle.

Remember that you will need to invest in yourself emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.

How do you invest in yourself?

      1. I ‘m doing pretty good as well , I am now in holidays in France at my parents house and even though they don’t understand my passion for blogging and writing , I am still writing as I breathe ^^ and overwise I ‘ve had good medical reports lately so that’s encouraging but I feel kind of stuck because it’s been two years that I’m blogging now and I feel like my numbers of like or even comments are not evolving and I don’t find the way to engage with my audiance and I would love to but it’s like I am kind of stuck and it makes me sad because some days I feel useless about that but I still love to write and I am also publishing books on wattpad and I feel like I love all that but I don’t see the echo of my work you see ? other than that i’m good too^^

      2. I am glad your medical reports are good and you’re doing well.

I know the feeling blogging isn’t as glamourous as it seems. Do you have a schedule for your blog? It’s IMPORTANT to have specific days and time to publish your content.

Have you joined bloggers pinterest facebook or Twitter groups? That helped me a lot and I am learning new things everyday. I don’t have the proper link but try to join ” bossgirlbloggers ” on Facebook

Take a break if need be. Try to understand yourself your blog and what you want from that. Then come back stronger

      3. Yes but look I post an article every day ! I have joined a facebook group “bloggers” but I don’t want to pay my subscribers sort of speak I want to connect with people that genuienly care about my content . I want to create a community of empowered being that are able to empower others as well to shine , live their dreams and know that they are unstoppable . Writing is like my oxygen I mean stopping will be tough but I am going to reflect on that at least ^^Thanks

      4. Please reflect on it and don’t be afraid to ask for help. I have heard that it takes a lot of work and dedication to create a community.
Wish you all the best 😘

  3. Great list.. I am striking off many of these currently! Taking time to invest in myself so I can be the best me possible! It’s so easy once you have children to stop investing in yourself and that can be so detrimental.

  4. Good morning. This is an interesting article. I have recently adopted the mantra “don’t spend over 8 hours so day working for someone else without doing at least one thing daily to improve yourself”.
I have written a post about setting SMART goals and would love you to take a look πŸ™‚

    1. Yes Lauren as much as it is important to invest in your children you also need to invest in yourself too. Just find the right balance.
