The first person you will have to live and get along with your entire life is yourself. You need to love yourself, understand yourself, forgive yourself and others, take care of yourself and develop yourself your entire life.
The concept of self love is sometimes misinterpreted. People often think that it is selfish to start loving yourself more. People need to understand that self love requires self awareness first. Know who you are, what make you happy or cry, what you are passionate about, what you want from life. Only then you can start loving and taking care of yourself the way you deserve.
Self care is a process, it is a daily practice. It is not just going on fancy holidays, go shopping or having a spa day, it is more than that. By loving and taking care of yourself, you will have to be ready to change your old bad habits, healing your past, remove toxic people and relationships from your life. Thriving to be the best version of yourself.
It is important to remember that there is no one recipe for self love and self care. What working for one person will not necessarily work for another person. You know your yourself better than blogs posts or videos on YouTube. Do what feel natural for you to do. Self love, self care sometimes are hard but they help you reach a new and better version of yourself. They help you reach happiness and the greatest feeling INNER PEACE . Self love and care done properly from the inside have tremendous impacts on the outside.
