God, Prayer and Hard-work

Faith is believing in the things you do not see, you do not have to see to believe in God, you have to believe in God to see. You don’t have to understand how God will give it to you, when your turn will come, the only thing you need to do is to believe and trust that God is already doing it for you.

Pray for everything

My mum has always told me, prayer is the solution to everything. When you are happy pray, when you sad pray, when you are scared pray, when you are bored pray. The first thing I do every single morning before talking to anyone I PRAY. When you pray you are more compassionate, you understand people better. Pray for your projects, your family, your friends, yourself and for others. I have read somewhere that “your prayer has to be as specific as your order at Rocomama” (for those who wander what it means the thing is this restaurant ask to fill a form to place your order, you have to tick all the little details they have to put in your burger and if you choose ingredients you don’t know and you don’t like your final burger at the end, you have yourself to blame).

Let nobody fool you, God hear your prayer, always ready to listen, even if you think it has been 3 years since you have prayed, you can still start now, God is ready and He is waiting for you to come half way and talk to Him

Ask, Seek and Knock

The words of God says: “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be open to you.” Sometimes you do not receive what you are asking for or a project doesn’t go according to plan because you didn’t ask properly or you only asked to satisfy your own selfish desire. Your purpose in life has to benefit in somehow people and better their lives. The principle of “ask, seek and knock” is something which must be applied in the areas of your life. When you want something start by asking in prayer get the confirmation that what you are asking is in line with your destiny. Then seek for the thing you have just ask for, it is already out there, find people who can help you get closer to your dreams. Then finally knock at those doors, ask for help, if you believe you can get it keep on presenting your projects, ask for funds, take those courses to help you strengthen your knowledge.

You have to put in the hard work

It is important to understand that sometimes you are the reason you haven’t received your blessings, you are not at the right place to receive your blessings, you are laying in your bed asking for God’s help in your life without putting a single effort. Have action plans, be motivated, have specific details on what you want and you will see God’s hand in everything you do. Remember: “Inspiration has to find you working.” Do the work, put in the effort believe you can achieve it:

Believe you will have that job but apply for it first with all the required documents,

Believe you will open your dream nails salon but do your research, understand what it takes to open that nail salon

Believe you will have your degree but start by being a good student who revise, attend classes, do the assignments on time and work hard

Believe you will buy your dream house, but have specific details, how much does your dream house cost, how much do you need to work to get the exact amount to buy that house? Know it all

Whatever you are doing or going through now, is preparing you for something greater. Be grateful for all the things you have now, if you are not loyal in small things, what makes you think you will be loyal in greater things? If you don’t like your current job, try to do it properly anyway. Remember that if you have bad work ethic with what you are doing currently, what make you think you will have good work ethic when you get your own business?

Believing in God, praying and hard work are powerful tools to keep with you in whatever you do. You will never have time to complain or be disappointed when you know that was God’s sign.

Till next Sunday

Be yourself

    1. Yes it’s important to know exactly what we want so that we’re not confused when we see signs of it happening. Thanks for reading Boris ๐Ÿ’•

  1. This was an amazing message and I believe everything you wrote 1000% My husband always says we have to prepare for what we want and itโ€™s so true and we also have to work hard and commit towards what we want. Keep up the good work! Have a great week!

    1. Yes indeed. We have to prepare for what we want. Prayer works, we have to put in the effort ourselves to achieve what we asked for in prayer. Thank you for taking time to read๐Ÿ’•

    1. Yeah you are not alone. I have also struggled a lot on letting go and letting God, some days are harder than other to let God but I have come to realize that every time God makes you wait it’s for a reason. Thank you for reading Tamika ๐Ÿ’•

  2. Thank you for reminding us — and the world — that without a daily conversation with God, we are all lost.
    Powerful tools, you provided.
I am learning to pray in the present; to ask God for the glories of today and leave tomorrow out of the equation. It’s a completely new style of praying for me and has been a test to focus on today. I’m getting better at it, but it’s like learning any new habit. The urge to take back tomorrow is always tempting. Thank you for your inspiration.
