5 Brutal truths about life you need to understand

There are universal truth about life everyone should know and understand to live a more meaningful life, those truths teach us essential lessons to help us live better. Here are FIVE brutal truth about life you need to understand.

5 brutal truth everyone should know and understand

1. Your talents mean nothing without consistent effort and practice

All your great talents and ideas are only great in your head until you start putting them out there and practice them. Some of the most talented people have never accomplished anything, all their great ideas stayed in their heads and never came to life. The earlier you practice your talents and put consistent efforts the better. Now is the perfect time to start, try new things, discover your passion and do what you have always wanted to do.

2. What other people think about you really doesn’t matter

Being dependent on other people is expensive and you really can’t afford it. what people think about you, what you do with your life and how you live your life really don’t matter. When you keep listening to what people think of you and want from you and apply it in your life, you end up loosing yourself. Remember that the version of you people create in their minds it is not your responsibility, you cannot live their life for them. What matter the most is what you think about yourself.

3. Time is your most valuable asset

There is nothing worst than wasted time, your time is precious. It is important to understand that you have the power and responsibility to use your time wisely, not everyone and everything require the same amount of time and energy. Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize. Remember it is not about when you wake up but what you do with your time when you are up.Give your time to what matter the most for you. Give your time to your loved ones, time is a way to change your perspective and create memory for yourself and the people who matter to you that will last forever.

4. We are all going to die, in fact we don’t even know when

Start structuring your life meaningfully, I am going to die, you are going to die and we are all going to die one day, we have no idea when and how, we have no idea how many days or years we have until the last day. Create and strengthen meaningful relationships with your loved ones, create memories you will cherish forever. It is sad to talk about us dying one day but the truth is it is one of the most brutal truth about life we need to understand whether we like it or not.

5. Happiness is found within yourself

Your happiness won’t look like your neighbor’s, sister’s, brother’s, parents or friends happiness. Your happiness will look like you. Deep down you know exactly what makes you happy and full energy. No amount of material wealth will make you a happier person if you are not happy with yourself. Remember that money only amplifies which was already present whatever it was.

What are others life lessons you think everyone should know?

Till next Sunday

    1. Yes that’s exactly it. We are responsible to make ourselves happy. Others come on board to add on on that happiness.

  1. This is one of the most beautiful posts I’m come across tonight. I particularly like this, “What other people think about you really doesn’t matter”. It really hit close to home because it took me many years to work on my self-esteem, which really helped me value my own opinions more. And I’ve also long realised that the people we fuss about usually don’t even think about us, so what’s the point of wasting energy on thinking whether their opinions matter or not, right?

  2. Well said! Indeed, we are all going to die. So might as well make the most of our lives and live each day to the fullest. It’s better to live a life of fulfillment than wondering what if. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Hello Divine,

I just came across your blog, and I’m already fascinated!
I thought I knew all these concepts until I read this post. I especially love the No. 1. It made me rethink my beliefs about talent.
“Some of the most talented people have never accomplished anything, all their great ideas stayed in their heads and never came to life.” – Words of a great person, I got to admit it!
