Women’s day was not going to be women’s day for me if I didn’t share a post specially dedicated to women. Around this time last year, I went to a women only conference and the hashtag was #SHEMEANSBUSINESS, by that you understand strong unapologetic women who mean business, who fight for what they want, who create a table and invite other women, women who uplift each other and don’t apologize for their success because they have worked hard to be where they are. That is why the perfect tittle for this post was obviously going to be SHE MEANS BUSINESS.
For the past few weeks, I discovered amazing, strong and talented women who mean business and this entire post is dedicated to them. Here are the 7+ phenomenal women who mean business we are crushing on this month.
The 24 years old owner Belaura Beloti, who was born in the DR Congo is a qualified accountant from the University of Johannesburg. Despite her qualifications obtained from the University of Johannesburg, Belaura has always had a passion for art, colors and shapes; having done visual arts in high school, makeup and beauty became one of her passions
Bel’s Studio is a rising makeup and beauty studio located in Johannesburg, South Africa that aims to offer luxurious, high end makeup artistry and beauty services to its clients. Even though the studio’s main focus is making up our clients, the goal is to diversify our services by offering makeup masterclasses as well as consulting services by meeting and exceeding clients expectations.

She’s a flight attendant for Comair (pty) Ltd, after leaving Qatar Airways. She also owns a ice making company called Ice Queens. Having owned two beauty spas previously (Botho Bontle Spa + Anashe Beauty Spa), she is passionate about business and inspiring others.
Ndlovukazi Wines is a wine brand owned by a black woman who is Spruitview based. The wine brand was founded in July 2020. The wine brand has 3 variants for wines as introductory level (2018 Shiraz, 2018 White Blend & 2018 Red Blend Merlot). We call these variants The Triplets within the brand. We will be launching our Sparkling Wine And MCC Brut soon. We strive to inspire and cultivate a lifestyle of elegance.

Déborah Mbathe ,an enterprising young woman in African artisan fashion and many others, she’s also a fashion blogger in an online magazine from Ivory Cost called Abijan Groove where she shares the latest trends and tips to always be and look fashionable. She also works full time in fashion.
TAAJI is a traditional African ready-to-wear online store, the name comes from the Swahili language TAJI which means: Crown, since Africa is a whole kingdom full of so much. We have a passion for traditional African craftsmanship and leather work, Taaji creates links with artisan communities to generate fair trade on original items from Africa. Our fabrics come both from Congo and from other African countries.
