Top 10 rooftops visited in 2018

I am a great fan of good food, sweet cocktails and great vibes. Spending on experiences I see it as an investment. My partner is a fan of great views and good meat and also a great, well let say a huge fan of beers, he is always searching for the next beer to taste. In 2018 only I don’t know how many times he has tasted new beer. I have came up with a list of our top 10 restaurants/ bars/ rooftops we visited in 2018

10. PRIMI Eastgate mall

The Italian restaurant situated in Eastgate mall has one of the best view and you don’t feel like you are in a shopping mall. The view is beautiful and their kebab, cocktails and beer were great. The service was excellent.

9. RARE Steakhouse Clearwater

There is nothing I enjoy more like a great steak. This was the perfect spot to enjoy tasty steak

8. Salvation café in Milpark Johannesburg

It offers the most sweet and fresh drinks you can’t imagine. Ideal spot for lunch and breakfast but remember to check theirs opening days and hours

7. Harvard café at Rand airport in Germiston

Situated at the rand airport, the restaurant offers a complete menu to suit everyone. The little plus about this restaurant is you are on the front row to see mini airplanes ballet

6. Ramkiki

Ramkiki is a restaurant, wedding and conference venue situated in Ruimsig Rooderpoort. It’s one of our favourite place to be, it has great views and it’s great for peaceful Sundays Lunch and Fridays dinner. The service is excellent

5. The Summit in Pretoria

Looking for a great spot for lunch or dinner in Pretoria? Check out the Summit with its stunning view over Menlyn mall.

4. Vuyos, Vilakazi street Soweto

If you are planning a day out in Soweto, Vuyos should be on your list. Their african cuisine is just amazing. Their services are on top and if you are lucky enough you can hear the amazing band singing acapella

3. Southern Sun Hyde park

Another of my favorite. The atmosphere not too noisy and it is a perfect spot to see amazing sunsets

2. Radisson blu hotel Sandton

One of the best discovery I have made on Instagram. Fridays nights are for great DJs good food and great cocktails. You will want to go early to see the beautiful sunset and amazing buildings in Sandton. Their service is a bit slow but the food will make you go back there

1. The Palazzo Montecasino

The luxurious restaurant situated in Montecasino Boulevard in Fourways, Johannesburg was one of my favorite place to visit in 2018. The Palazzo has an amazing garden with splendid views. We tasted their delicious pasta and we were let say seduced by their food. Their service is on top
